The pool room was decently sized and enclosed on two sides by glass that faces the ocean. If you sign up for a membership, they give you a couple dollars free. The casino is fairly small but has a decent selection of slot machines and some table games as well. I told the front desk at check-out and they informed maintenance about it.
The only problem I had with the room was the toilet would continue to run after flushing unless you jiggled the handle. There is wireless internet in the room which was free. There was a tv in the large cabinet in the room but I was surprised that the tv wasn't a flat screen on the wall above the fireplace. The king sized bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've had staying in hotels though for some people it might be too soft it wasn't so soft that you felt you were sinking into a mattress with shot springs. The bathroom had strong water pressure and two sinks. There was a gas fireplace that was really nice to have to take away the chill in the air. It was a regular king bed room that was really pretty nice. I stayed at Ocean Shores on September 27 and got a room on the third floor on the corner facing the parking lot.
